Holding tanks – made to order in PE plastic
A holding tank collects wastewater at properties that are not connected to the sewer network. The tank is emptied regularly by a vacuum truck.
We manufacture holding tanks of all sizes from PE plastic by welding in Oulu, Finland. The tank size, service risers and connections are adapted to the site.
What is a holding tank?
Wastewater that cannot be treated on site or led to a sewer is directed into a holding tank. The water is stored in a closed tank and taken away for treatment by a vacuum truck.
Holding tanks are a common solution for example for:
- Holiday homes and cottages
- Rural properties without a sewer connection
- Sites where wastewater cannot be infiltrated into the ground
Welded PE construction
The tank body is horizontal and made of PE plastic. The ends are welded shut, making the tank a single, tight structure.
- Two vertical service risers
- A smaller connection between the risers
- Lifting lugs at both ends
- Welded end plates
The length of the service risers and the position of the connections are adapted to the installation site.
